Distribution Excellence Manager – Beverages

Purpose:Lead the Distribution Excellence agenda for Beverages by designing, implementing, and governing scalable RTM frameworks and distribution models. Partner with Supply Chain Excellence, Finance, and Marketing to align distribution planning with business goals and improve network efficiency.Key Responsibilities:- Design and enhance RTM frameworks across markets to ensure optimal coverage, productivity, and cost efficiency. - Lead distribution planning and governance, including channel mix, beat design, and outlet coverage. - Partner with Supply Chain Excellence to define service levels, inventory norms, and replenishment models. - Collaborate with Finance on distributor ROI, viability, and network profitability. - Work with Marketing and Sales to translate activation strategies into distribution growth. - Monitor distribution KPIs (availability, width, depth, strike rate, drop size, etc.) and drive corrective actions. - Execute pilots for new distribution models (e.g., wholesale, e-comm assisted RTM, institutional reach) and scale proven concepts. - Build capability playbooks and conduct training for regional teams on distribution excellence frameworks. - Create dashboards for visibility on distribution health and drive monthly governance with regions.Profile Requirements:- 4–8 years of FMCG experience (Beverages preferred). - Background in Distribution/RTM roles or Senior Area Sales Management. - Strong understanding of field execution, DMS/SFA tools, and market operations. - Analytical, process-oriented, and capable of influencing multiple stakeholders.
