You will work on Python-based services, production APIs, data pipelines, and agent orchestration systems. The role includes close collaboration with AI/ML teams, frontend teams, and product teams.Key ResponsibilitiesBackend Development Build and optimise backend services, APIs, and microservices in Python Design backend systems that are scalable, secure, and reliable Develop and enhance AI agent backends as part of the broader AI platform AI Infrastructure Work with AI engineers to deploy and maintain AI agents in production Implement monitoring, observability, and debugging for agent workflows Support integrations with enterprise-grade systems System Performance & Reliability Improve latency, throughput, and scalability of backend systems Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to system hardening Ensure high availability for mission-critical deployments Cross-team Collaboration Work closely with product, AI, and frontend teams Provide technical recommendations during design and architecture discussions Maintain clear communication with engineering leadership Continuous Improvement Introduce new tools, frameworks, and best practices Contribute to internal documentation, onboarding materials, and engineering standardsWhat We’re Looking ForRequired Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from IITs, IIITs, NITs, BITS, or other top Indian technical institutes Strong hands-on building experience with Python (FastAPI / Flask / Django preferred) Must have 5+ years of backend development experience at a well-regarded technology organisation Strong understanding of: APIs & microservices Databases (Postgres, MongoDB, Redis) Distributed systems concepts Server-side architecture Ability to solve complex problems with clean and maintainable code Decent communication skills and confidence to be able to interact with customers when neededGood to Have Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure) Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) Exposure to AI/ML pipelines or agent frameworks Familiarity with Next.js (for API integrations)Why Join the AI LibraryCompetitive compensation + performance bonuses Work directly with a Silicon Valley engineering leadership team Opportunity to build production AI systems used by enterprises globally Rapid growth environment with strong ownership and autonomy Professional development, mentorship, and leadership opportunities
