IT-Admin Executive

Role Overview

The IT Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining GoKhana's IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, supporting end-users, and implementing security protocols. This role requires hands-on technical expertise and proactive problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, networks, printers, and systems.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal uptime.
• Manage user accounts, access rights, and security permissions.
• Provide technical support to employees and resolve IT-related queries.
• Oversee data backups, recovery processes, and disaster recovery planning.
• Implement and monitor IT security measures (firewalls, antivirus, patching, etc.).
• Coordinate with vendors for procurement, maintenance, and service support.
• Maintain inventory of IT assets (laptops, desktops, servers, network devices, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and data protection guidelines.
• Support the onboarding/offboarding process with IT setup and access management.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience as an IT Administrator/System Administrator or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments.
• Hands-on experience with networking (LAN, WAN, VPN, routers, switches).
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Workspace, etc.).
• Good understanding of cybersecurity practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
