Description :Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all.Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.- Escalation Leadership : Act as the final point of technical escalation for all critical network incidents, ensuring rapid diagnosis, resolution, and root cause analysis (RCA) to minimize downtime.- NOC Management : Oversee the Network Operations Center (NOC) functions, defining operational processes, ensuring 24/7 coverage efficiency, and driving continuous improvement in incident response and proactive monitoring.- Design & Implementation : Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of complex network projects, focusing on high availability, security, and scalability.- Technical Authority : Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for all core network technologies, providing guidance and mentorship to Level 1-3 network staff.- Cloud Networking : Manage and optimize connectivity, peering, and interconnects between on-premises Data Centers and public cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).Required Experience And Qualifications :- Minimum of 8+ years of progressive experience in network engineering, with at least 3 years operating at a Senior/Level 4 escalation capacity.- Proven previous experience in 24/7 escalation operations, including participation in on-call rotation management and leading major incident calls.- Relevant industry certifications are highly desirable (e.g. CCNP Enterprise/Data Center, or equivalent Arista/Cloud certifications).- Exceptional ability to perform detailed packet-level analysis and utilize network monitoring and performance tools.- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.Required Technical Expertise :- Network Access & Security | Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine), Cisco Wireless infrastructure.- Core Routing & Switching | Advanced expertise in LAN and WAN technologies; deep understanding of Routing and Switching principles, including BGP and EIGRP.- Data Center Networking | Advanced DC Technology (e.g., Fabric Path), VXLAN on Arista platforms.- Network Management | Comprehensive knowledge of Cisco Catalyst Center (formerly DNA Center), IPAM and Infobox service management.- SD-WAN & Optimization | Hands-on deployment and management of Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela), experience with WAN Optimization technologies.- Cloud Networking | Direct experience implementing and managing Cloud Interconnects and hybrid networking solutions with Azure, AWS, and GCP.About Micron Technology, Inc. :We are an industry leader in innovative memory and storage solutions transforming how the world uses information to enrich life for all.With a relentless focus on our customers, technology leadership, and manufacturing and operational excellence, Micron delivers a rich portfolio of high-performance DRAM, NAND, and NOR memory and storage products through our Micron and Crucial brands.Every day, the innovations that our people create fuel the data economy, enabling advances in artificial intelligence and 5G applications that unleash opportunities from the data center to the intelligent edge and across the client and mobile user experience.
