You’ll work closely with hardware and software teams to develop robust WLAN stacks, troubleshoot performance issues, and contribute to next-generation wireless technologies.In this role, you will:- Design, implement, and optimize WLAN firmware and driver components based on IEEE 802.11 standards (a/b/g/n/ac/ax). - Develop and maintain wireless connectivity stacks and protocol layers (MAC, PHY). - Collaborate with hardware and software teams to integrate WLAN solutions into embedded systems or mobile platforms (e.g., Android/Linux). - Analyze and resolve wireless performance issues, latency problems, and interference. - Support test and validation efforts using tools like Wireshark, protocol analyzers, and signal generators. - Contribute to debugging and troubleshooting of wireless communication issues in complex environments. - Keep up to date with evolving WLAN technologies, standards, and regulatory compliance.Your Profile- 5–12 years of experience in WLAN firmware and driver development. - Strong proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems. - Deep understanding of wireless protocols and networking fundamentals. - Experience with Linux kernel, device drivers, and Android HAL. - Familiarity with RF testing tools and wireless analyzers. - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.What You’ll Love About Working Here- We value flexibility and support our employees with remote work options and adaptable schedules to maintain a healthy work-life balance. - Our inclusive culture brings together diverse professionals committed to growth, innovation, and excellence. - You’ll have access to continuous learning opportunities and certifications in emerging technologies like wireless, embedded systems, and connectivity standards.About UsAt Capgemini, we bring together a global team of engineers, scientists, and architects to help the world’s most innovative companies unleash their potential.
