Cloud infra structure engineer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Cloud infra structure engineer with extensive experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting system and application issues across a diverse range of platforms. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of performance tuning on Azure, Windows, Linux, VMware, Storage, and Networks. Additionally, hands-on experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, Logic Apps, Automation Accounts, KQL, Tenable, and SentinelOne is essential. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the stability, security, and optimal performance of our IT infrastructure, including fixing and ensuring Microsoft Defender Endpoint servers and components are in a healthy state.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain systems and applications across various platforms including Azure, Windows, Linux, VMware, Storage, and Networks.
• Troubleshoot system and application issues to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
• Perform performance tuning to optimize system performance and enhance efficiency.
• Implement and maintain antivirus solutions to ensure the security of the IT environment.
• Utilize Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, Logic Apps, Automation Accounts, KQL, Tenable, and SentinelOne for security monitoring, threat detection, and response.
• Write custom queries in KQL (Kusto Query Language) to extract, analyze, and visualize data in Microsoft Sentinel.
• Create and maintain runbooks in Sentinel for automated incident response and remediation.
• Fix and ensure Microsoft Defender Endpoint servers and components are in a healthy state.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy new technologies and solutions.
• Create and maintain documentation related to system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to system emergencies in a timely manner.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a System Engineer or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with Azure, Windows, Linux, VMware, Storage, and Networks.
• Familiarity with antivirus solutions and security tools such as Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, Logic Apps, Automation Accounts, KQL, Tenable, and SentinelOne.
• Strong proficiency in writing custom queries in KQL for data analysis and visualization.
• Experience in creating and maintaining runbooks in Microsoft Sentinel for automated incident response and remediation.
• Ability to fix and ensure Microsoft Defender Endpoint servers and components are in a healthy state.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, VMware Certified Professional, SC-200, SC-100) are a plus.
