Position Function

As a key member of the Infrastructure Management team, the Database Administrator will assist with data administration and data architecture efforts for the organization.

This person will help install, configure, and support Oracle E-Business Suite and related applications and technology software.

This person will help install, configure, and support Microsoft SQL Servers and related applications and technology software


Role and Responsibilities

Support production, development, and test Oracle E-Business Suite instances and other Oracle applications (Agile PLM, Fusion Middleware, Transportation Management, Demantra, EBS, ASCP and OBIEE).

Perform routine tasks, such as cloning of Oracle and MS SQL environments.

Administer and manage all Oracle E-Business Suite components.

Support and implement enhancements to Oracle ERP Suite cloning procedures.

Research, plan, implement and document procedures for applying patches, upgrades, and installations of Oracle E-Business Suite modules, Edge Applications as well as the Oracle Applications Technology Stack.

Performance tune, monitor, and troubleshoot all components of Oracle and MS SQL.

Assist with the implementation of architecture solutions for the Oracle ERP Suite environment to support business objectives.

Implement and document backup and recovery procedures for the Oracle systems.

Ability to effectively communicate with team members and customers.

Participate in 24x7 on call rotation.
