Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Technical Lead at Saptang Labs in Chennai. The Technical Lead will be responsible for team management, team leadership, troubleshooting, software development, and project management. The role involves overseeing the technical team, leading projects, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring software development meets high standards.


Job Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end development of our web application, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and scalability.

• Design and implement the architecture of the application, including server-side components, client-side interfaces, and database interactions.

• Provide technical direction and mentorship to the development team, ensuring best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.

• Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

• Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality, performance, and security.

• Manage project timelines, and deliverables, and ensure the team meets project milestones.

• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, incorporating new tools and techniques as appropriate.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues that arise during the development and deployment phases.

• Maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation for the application.


Required Skills and Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.

• Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience in full-stack development with a focus on web applications.


Technical Proficiency

• Front-End: Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue.js or Svelte.

• Back-End: Strong knowledge of server-side languages such as Python, Golang or Java.

• Database: Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra.

• DevOps: Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Testing: Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and tools like Pytest, Selenium, or Cypress.


Soft Skills

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.


Preferred Qualifications

• Industry Knowledge: Experience in developing applications for data intelligence or data-intensive purposes.
