Job Description :

- 5-10 years of professional experience as a Data Modeller

- Conceptual model to aid understanding and input to Universal Data Model (UDM)

- Logical model to prepare development teams for delivering Physical underlying structures

- Experience in ER modelling (Entity Relationship) and dimensional modelling (star schema, snowflake schema) using tools like Erwin

- Translation of business requirements into solution designs and functional requirements.

- Experience in eliciting, documenting, and verifying requirements for the use of data across the organization

- Previous experience in data analysis, or architecture including delivery of data artefacts in big data projects on prem or cloud. Eg. data models, data flow diagrams and metadata would be beneficial.

- Experience in banking and specifically within data domains

- Proven strength in conceptual and logical thinking, ability to abstract information, and look at the bigger picture.

- Proven analysis skills with the ability to challenge designs/decisions and exposure to agile methodologies.

- Experience in working within large, complex, and geographically dispersed projects (including across time zones)

- Excellent spoken and written communication skills. A strong ability to communicate virtually

- Strong leadership and an ability to articulate, present and obtain approval for solutions at the right level for a wide audience (IT and Business)

- Self-awareness and the confidence to work independently

- Tools: Erwin or similar, JIRA, Confluence

Key Skills : Hadoop, Hive, API, design principles, design architect, data management, data governance, good to have experience in GCP.

20% - data architect experience as basic.

70% - capability to structure a problem, structure a solution, and structure the articulation of the solution. Communication skills reflects in drawing diagrams, creating tables and verbal/written explanation of design considerations.

10% - good knowledge of modern data tech, or knowledge of ESG Data/Reporting

Responsibilities :

- Working with the DAO ESG delivery leads, Portfolio and Platform architects from multiple GB/GFs, Technical Leads

- Engineers to define the detailed solution design

- The job is also accountable to see through the implementation of the design. The solutions design covers technology, data and business processes

- Ensuring the products & services are supported by the right architectures and solutions meet the customer needs

- Ensuring the design of the product solutions are cost effective and maintained through the agile development lifecycle, managing the flow of the backlog of design activities

- Ensuring solutions are aligned with the data and platform architecture and roadmap, group standards and policies and the overall enterprise architecture for their function

Experience Required :

- Engage, mobilize and guide technology resources to speed up deliveries

- Working with Engineers to ensure any design related issues are addressed timely, and all operational issues (performance, security violation) are resolved timely.

- Support communications and relationships with business and IT stakeholders.

- Explore solution options and make balanced design decisions according to longer term strategy and immediate business benefit, to avoid and reduce technical debt.

- Receive formal approvals from relevant design
