Manager - Finance & Compliance


Role Summary:

We are seeking a CSR Finance Compliance Manager to oversee the financial and compliance aspects of our corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong finance background with expertise in financial due diligence, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance.

This role is crucial for ensuring the financial integrity and regulatory adherence of our CSR Due Diligence:

- Conduct thorough financial due diligence for all onboarding NGOs, which includes a deep analysis of their financial statements and a review of their compliance history.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

- Handle budgeting and forecasting for all entities, including preparing multi-year financial projections.

- Review project budgets submitted by NGOs, identify anomalies or incorrect expenses, and coordinate with relevant teams for necessary approvals.

Reporting & Compliance:

- Prepare reports and dashboards for senior leadership using Power BI or similar reporting tools.

- Act as a liaison between the CSR team and the Statutory/Tax Controllers to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and Skills:

- Finance: Knowledge of financial due diligence, budgeting, and forecasting.

- Compliance: Strong understanding of legal and regulatory compliance in a financial context.

- Technical: Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in a CSR or social work environment is a plus but not mandatory.

- No specific CSR project domain experience is & A bachelor's or master's degree in a finance-related field, such as CA (Chartered Accountant), CMA (Certified Management Accountant), or MBA Finance.

Experience: 2-4 years of experience is acceptable if the candidate has a strong finance background and the necessary skills (ref:iimjobs.com)
