Job Description :


We seek a skilled D365 F&O Techno-Functional Consultant with 4-8 years of experience to join our team. The candidate should have a strong blend of technical and functional expertise, capable of understanding business processes and delivering solutions within the D365 F&O ecosystem. The role involves implementing, configuring, and customizing D365 F&O while supporting business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities :

Functional Responsibilities :

1. Business Analysis & Requirement Gathering :

- Engage with stakeholders to understand business processes and requirements.

- Translate business needs into functional specifications for D365 F&O.

2. Solution Design & Implementation :

- Configure D365 F&O modules such as Finance (GL, AP, AR), Procurement and Sourcing, Inventory Management, or Sales and Marketing.

- Perform gap analysis and recommend workarounds or customizations.

3. Process Optimization :

- Identify opportunities for process improvement within the D365 F&O framework.

- Support end-users in adopting system changes and enhancements.

4. Testing and Training :

- Develop and execute test cases during UAT (User Acceptance Testing).

- Conduct end-user training and create user documentation.

Technical Responsibilities :

1. Customizations and Extensions :

- Develop and modify customizations in X++ or through extensions in D365 F&O.

- Integrate D365 F&O with other systems using Data Entities, OData, and custom APIs.

2. Data Migration :

- Handle data migration using Data Management Framework (DMF) or related tools.

- Ensure data integrity during migration activities.

3. Reports and Analytics :

- Create custom reports using Power BI, SSRS, or embedded analytics in D365 F&O.

- Build dashboards and KPIs tailored to business requirements.

4. System Support and Maintenance :

- Resolve system issues and ensure smooth operation of D365 F&O post-implementation.

- Perform periodic system health checks and troubleshooting.

Qualifications and Skills :

Required :

1. Functional Skills :

- Deep knowledge of at least two D365 F&O modules such as Finance, Procurement and Sourcing, or Inventory Management.

- Understanding of end-to-end business processes in supply chain and finance domains.

2. Technical Skills :

- Proficiency in X++, C#, or other D365 development tools.

- Experience in using Lifecycle Services (LCS) and Azure DevOps for project and release management.

- Knowledge of Entity Store, Data Entities, and integrations via Power Platform.

3. Analytical and Communication Skills :

- Strong analytical abilities to troubleshoot and resolve technical/functional issues.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders.

Preferred :

- Certification in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.

- Familiarity with Power Automate, Power Apps, or Dataverse.
