RV University is a State Private University which has been established in Karnataka State with RSST as the sponsoring body through Act No.11 of 2019, passed by the Karnataka Legislature.Established by the Rashtreeya Sikshana Samithi Trust (RSST), which has over eight decades of experience in higher education system.Job Title: Programmer (Examinations Office)Location: RV University, Bengaluru, IndiaEmployment Type: Full-Time.Position OverviewThe Programmer in the Examinations Office will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting software systems and databases that facilitate examination processes, result generation, and related academic functions. The role involves close collaboration with administrative and academic staff to ensure the accuracy, efficiency, and security of examination-related data and systems.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport in Design, develop, and maintain examination management systems, including modules for registration, seating plans, marks entry, grading, and result publication.Develop automated tools and scripts to improve efficiency in result processing, report generation, and statistical analysis.Ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with university and regulatory standards.Provide technical support and troubleshooting for examination software and database issues.Collaborate with the Examinations Office staff to analyze workflow requirements and implement software solutions.Maintain and update student records databases, ensuring smooth data transfer between systems.Participate in software upgrades, testing, and integration of new features.Qualifications and Experience:B.E in Computer Science or allied branches /M.C.A./ Diploma with 6 years experienceGood knowledge in building web applications using latest web technologies ( HTML, CSS, Javascript, Python, Java, MySQL).Familiarity in networking and basic troubleshooting.Basic knowledge of SAP-ERP software is desirable.Work experience (2+ years) in educational institution is added advantage.Key CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.High attention to detail and accuracy in handling examination data.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines during examination cycles.Commitment to confidentiality and data security.Interested candidates matching the criteria should drop in their CV's to recruitments@rvu.edu.in.
