Recrud, as a hiring partner for its esteemed client, is on the lookout for a skilled and visionary Technical Lead to join the team within the domain of educational technology.

The client, a pioneer in developing an Integrated School Platform (ISP), has revolutionized school management and learning outcomes through its state-of-the-art SaaS solution.

This platform is utilized by over 15 million users across more than 25 countries and is available in over 20 languages.

The aim is to empower educators and stakeholders around the globe with a comprehensive toolset for enhancing the educational experience.

Position : Technical Lead in Software Engineering - Backend Development.

Technologies Involved :

- Python.

- Flask.

- Django.

Key Responsibilities : .

- Guide and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a self-organizing and collaborative environment.

- Oversee code reviews, high-level design (HLD) discussions, and uphold coding standards and best practices.

- Coordinate product team communications, manage releases, and oversee development cycles.

- Actively contribute to the engineering sprint, balancing between mentoring and hands-on development.

- Lead the recruitment and onboarding processes for new team members, ensuring a smooth integration into the company culture and workflow.

- Develop and implement performance assessment and skill enhancement plans for team members.

- Collaborate with engineering managers and the product team to create and refine performance and development frameworks.

- Address and resolve operational challenges within the engineering team, enhancing efficiency and :

- A strong educational background in computer science or engineering.

- At least 2 years of experience in leadership roles within high-performing teams.

- A minimum of 6 years of professional software development experience.

- Proficiency in Python, Flask, MongoDB, ReactJS, and Android, with a solid track record of mentoring software development teams.

- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.

Desirable Qualities : .

- Familiarity with industry-standard coding practices.

- Experience with agile methodologies.

- Ability to collaborate seamlessly with mobile and web development teams.
