Better Business Bureau has rated Angara A+ for excellence in service and our Trust Pilot rating stands at 4.5 out of 5.We are looking for an Email Marketing Manager to manage and optimize our email marketing campaigns as well as expand our customer outreach through SMS, and automation. The ideal candidate will bring creative flair, a data-driven mindset, and hands-on experience to drive engagement, conversions, and revenue.The Email Marketing Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing Email and SMS campaigns that build lasting relationships with customers, drive brand loyalty, and increase revenue. You’ll work closely with our creative, content, and marketing teams to ensure campaigns are aligned with business objectives and provide customers with an exceptional experience across multiple touchpointsKey Responsibilities:- Campaign Creation & Execution: Design, build, and execute end-to-end email marketing campaigns including content creation, segmentation, A/B testing, scheduling, and deployment. - Email & SMS Automation: Set up automated email and SMS workflows such as welcome series, cart abandonment, post-purchase emails, and customer engagement drip campaigns. - Content Development: Collaborate with the creative team to produce visually engaging, on-brand email and SMS templates that incorporate personalized content and product recommendations. - List Management: Drive growth of the opt-in email list and manage both email and SMS databases. Implement segmentation strategies for targeted messaging, audience reactivation, and regular list hygiene by removing inactive or non-engaging recipients. - Performance Tracking & Reporting: Monitor key metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and revenue across email, SMS, channels. Provide regular performance reports and actionable insights to optimize future campaigns. - A/B Testing: Conduct A/B testing for subject lines, content, offer and creative to continually improve engagement and conversion rates. - Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure compliance with email regulations (e.g., CAN-SPAM, CASL (Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation), PECR (Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations), Australia – Spam Act, GDPR) and mobile messaging regulations, maintaining high sender reputation scores and opt-in rates. - Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (creative, content, digital experience, analytics) to ensure campaigns across all channels are aligned with broader marketing strategies and business goals. - Marketing Calendar Management: Maintain a comprehensive marketing calendar to ensure timely and consistent communication with prospects and customers across email, and SMS. - Optimization & Testing: Use heatmaps, channel tracking, and behavioral insights to continuously improve content, layouts, and timing across multiple channels. - Customer Engagement: Implement strategies that ensure a seamless and cohesive customer experience across email and SMS. - CDP (Customer Data Platform) SkillsIdeal Candidate:- 8+ years of experience in email marketing with hands-on experience in SMS, ideally within e-commerce (luxury) or a related industry. - Proficiency with email marketing platforms (e.g., Bluecore, Emarsys, Klaviyo, Campaign Monitor, SendGrid, Omnisend). - Strong understanding of marketing CDP, automation, and segmentation. - Experience with performance tracking tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics (Omniture), Power BI or similar platforms. - Knowledge of email and mobile messaging deliverability best practices, sender reputation management, and compliance with regulations. - Familiarity with email and SMS marketing metrics (e.g., CTR, CVR, bounce rates, unsubscribe rates) and the ability to derive actionable insights from performance data. - Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for creating and troubleshooting email templates is a plus. - Ability to collaborate with design, content, and marketing teams to create cohesive and compelling multichannel campaigns.
