Job Title: Accounts Manager


Overview: Are you an adept Accountant with a keen eye for detail and a passion for navigating the complexities of E-commerce financial landscapes? Join our dynamic finance team as an E-commerce Accounts Manager, where you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining the financial integrity of our rapidly growing E-commerce business. Your expertise in reconciling E-commerce orders across various platforms will be instrumental in shaping our success in this ever-evolving sector.


Key Responsibilities:


1.     Order Reconciliation Mastery: Dive into the intricacies of E-commerce order data, meticulously verifying and reconciling transactions from multiple sources including sales platforms, payment gateways, inventory management systems, and bank statements.

2.     Discrepancy Detective: Embark on investigative missions to resolve any discrepancies or errors in order data, ensuring precision and completeness in our financial records.

3.     Transactional Wizardry: Apply your analytical prowess to dissect transactional data, ensuring accurate classification and recording of revenue, discounts, refunds, and other pertinent transactions.

4.     Month-End Maestro: Take the lead in month-end and year-end closing processes, crafting journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations with finesse, specifically tailored to E-commerce transactions.

5.     Insightful Reporting: Craft insightful reports that encapsulate E-commerce sales performance, order trends, and financial metrics, providing invaluable insights for management decision-making.

6.     Continuous Improvement Advocate: Champion the cause of process enhancement, constantly evaluating and refining E-commerce order reconciliation processes to boost efficiency, streamline operations, and fortify internal controls.

7.     Compliance Sentinel: Uphold the highest standards of compliance with relevant accounting principles, company policies, and regulatory mandates in all E-commerce accounting endeavours.

8.     Collaboration Connoisseur: Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams spanning E-commerce operations, customer service, and IT, fostering synergy to address challenges and optimize E-commerce order processing workflows.

Qualifications:


• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• BCOM or equivalent professional certification preferred.

• Demonstrated expertise (Min. 3 years) in accounting or finance roles, with a strong emphasis on E-commerce order reconciliation.

• Profound understanding of E-commerce business models, sales processes, and associated financial transactions.

• Proficiency in utilizing E-commerce platforms (e.g., Amazon, FK, Snapdeal) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, Zoho).

• Advanced Excel skills coupled with experience in data analysis tools.

• Exceptional analytical skills paired with an unwavering attention to detail.

• Ability to thrive in an autonomous environment, managing multiple tasks within deadlines.
