Litigation Management :


  • Ensure timely initiation of legal proceedings, timely attendance, and database management of litigations. Present updated legal cases review to the management on a monthly basis.
  • Co-ordinate with External Consultants / empanelled lawyers / Senior Counsels.
  • Prepare and send legal notices (absconding employees, deferred payment, IP breach etc.)
  • Maintain details of all litigation matters for future reference
  • Handling litigation matters and coordinate with Attorneys/ Senior counsels in India and overseas.
  • Maintaining relationship with local and national law firms and managing outside counsel with the goal of streamlining the legal process.
  • Manage litigation cases through discussion and follow up with external consultants /advocates.
  • Managing day-to-day litigations and arbitrations before various courts, forums, tribunals, judicial authorities and statutory authorities in India.
  • Preparing and planning strategies for matters. Conducting legal research. Briefing external Senior Counsels and Counsels for matters.
  • Drafting all documents in relation to litigations including pleadings, evidences, defenses, notices, etc.
  • Providing Legal Opinions on various legal prepositions.
  • Vetting various agreements to include Non Disclosure Agreements (NDA), Master Service Agreements (MSA), Vendor Agreements, Statement of Work/Work Orders (SOW/WO), Alliance Agreements, Business Development Agreements, Consultancy Contracts, Teaming Contracts, Professional Service Agreements (PSA), Manpower Staffing contracts, secondment contracts etc.
  • Drafting, vetting and negotiating domestic and international contracts/agreements.
  • Drafting of all sorts of legal notices and their replies.
  • Handling Labour matters, Attending Conciliations.
  • Attending hearings at various government departments and Courts.
  • Experienced working under high stressful condition, representing company in courts for litigation, negotiating and communicating with clients and with various governmental and non-governmental authorities.
  • Coordinating, briefing / discussing with the external counsels for company’s on-going litigations.
  • Updating management on the status of litigations and updating MIS/ tracker for litigation.
