Summary: -

The Chief Accountant will report to the CFO and assume a strategic role in the overall management of the company. Primary day-to-day responsibility includes Managing and controlling the Accounts Department.


Job Description – Chief Accountant

  • Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, including tax filings (GST, TDS, Income Tax) and other regulatory filings.
  • Handling & maintaining day to day accounting up to finalization of balance sheets.
  • Ensure timely Closure of books of accounts.
  • Liaising with the Statutory Auditors, Tax Auditors and Internal Auditors and ensure that the audits are completed as per the scheduled timelines.
  • Reporting the periodical Debtors and Creditors Ageing Report.
  • Review all month-end closing activities including general ledger accounts, balance sheet accounts, and overhead cost allocation.
  • Cash Flow Management

Job Requirements

  • / Inter CA / MBA/ M-Com/ B-Com
  • 5-15 years of relevant experience in accounts department particularly in Real Estate, is preferred.
  • strategic planning skills and able to interact with all levels.
  • MS Office skills particularly strong capabilities in MS Excel.
  • to work independently and highly meticulous.
  • experience in High-rise /SAP is highly regarded.
  • work ethic and team working skills are required
