Fortinet - Software Quality Assurance Engineer - Python

We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong Python scripting expertise, solid debugging skills, and hands-on experience in automation testing. The role involves developing and maintaining automation frameworks, executing regression tests, and collaborating closely with QA and Development teams to ensure high-quality product releases. Knowledge of L2/L3 networking will be an added advantage.Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.- Enhance existing automation setups for better efficiency, troubleshooting, and diagnostics.- Execute test automation, analyze results, and provide clear reporting.- Collaborate with QA/Dev teams to reproduce and debug issues.- Participate in test planning, scripting, execution, and defect management.- Document automation code and processes for future reference.Requirements : - Education : Bachelors degree in Engineering (Computer Science or related field).- Experience : 48 years in QA automation.- Strong hands-on experience with Python (mandatory).- Exposure to Selenium, Cucumber; knowledge of Ansible, JMeter is a plus.- Experience with UI and REST API automation (preferred).- Good knowledge of wired networking / L2-L3 protocols is desirable.- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.- Familiarity with QA methodologies, version control, and defect management tools.- Experience working in both Windows and Linux environments.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
