Taxation Specialist

BangaloreWhat we're looking for:- 3-12 years of strong experience in US taxation across all levels (individual, corporate, partnership).- Strong experience in reviewing tax files and ensuring accuracy and compliance.- Open for Relocation to BangaloreWhat you'll be doing:- Participate in client engagements by providing expert tax advice and guidance on a wide range of tax matters.- Devise, plan, and execute tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize tax benefits for clients.- Research and analyze complex tax issues and provide insightful solutions.- Prepare and/or review tax returns for corporate, partnership, and individual clients, including federal, state, and local tax returns, estimated payments, and extensions.- Stay abreast of all relevant tax laws, regulations, and industry updates.- Advise clients on tax planning opportunities and strategies for minimizing tax burdens.- Assist with tax audits and represent clients before tax authorities.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records.- Contribute to the development and improvement of tax processes and procedures.Required Skills & 3-12 years of experience in US taxation with a strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws.- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.- CPA or EA certification preferred.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex tax issues and identify potential solutions.- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.- Proficiency in tax software and research databases (CCH, Thomson Reuters Checkpoint).- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Excellent time management and organizational skills (ref:iimjobs.com)
