About the Role:

We are seeking a specialist with deep theoretical and practical expertise in GST, TDS, and statutory compliance. The role requires ownership of compliance activities, handling complex reconciliations, audits, statutory deadlines, and regulatory interactions—not just routine return filing. The candidate should be capable of interpreting tax laws, managing notices, and ensuring 100% statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:


• Manage end-to-end GST compliance: preparation and filing of GSTR-1, GSTR 3B, GSTR-9, ITC reconciliation, responding to GST notices, and supporting statutory audits.


• Oversee TDS compliance: accurate computation, deduction, timely deposit, uploading, quarterly return filing, reconciliations, and issuance of Form 16/16A.


• Maintain accurate statutory accounts in Tally ERP / Tally Prime, ensuring proper ledgers, reconciliations, and compliance reporting.


• Support finalisation of accounts, statutory reporting, and tax assessments in coordination with auditors and consultants.


• Proactively monitor and manage the compliance calendar to ensure zero delays or penalties.


• Stay updated with the latest amendments in GST & TDS laws and apply changes to processes.


• Generate compliance and MIS reports for management with actionable insights.

Key Skills & Competencies:


• In-depth theoretical and practical knowledge of GST law, ITC reconciliation, and compliance procedures.


• Strong command over TDS provisions, statutory obligations, and e-filing requirements.


• Advanced proficiency in Tally ERP / Tally Prime and MS Excel for reconciliations and compliance reporting.
• Ability to interpret and apply tax amendments, handle notices, and resolve audit findings.


• Detail-oriented, compliance-focused, and able to work under strict statutory timelines.


• Strong analytical and communication skills to interact with auditors, consultants, and authorities.

Qualification & Experience:


• Education: B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter or equivalent.


• Experience: 3–5 years in taxation and statutory compliance with proven expertise in GST & TDS.


• Hands-on experience with Tally ERP / Tally Prime is mandatory.


• Prior experience in handling tax audits, reconciliations, and assessments preferred.
