About the RoleWe are seeking a results-driven and visionary professional to join our leadership team as a GM Finance. The position serves as a trusted advisor to executive management and is responsible for driving organisational excellence through robust financial leadership, governance, and insight. The ideal candidate will bring both strategic acumen and hands-on expertise, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels and build strong, collaborative relationships.Key Responsibilities for GM Finance – Financial Leadership & Strategy Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy, aligned with organisational goals and growth ambitions. Lead the budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and analysis processes, ensuring sound financial decision making. Provide timely and accurate financial reporting and insightful analysis to senior management and the board. Oversee financial risk management, internal controls and compliance with all relevant statutory, legal, and regulatory requirements. Drive continuous improvement in finance operations, processes, and systems to maximise efficiency and accuracy. Manage cash flow, capital management, and investment strategies to ensure the organisation's financial sustainability. Lead annual audit processes and ensure robust relationship management with external auditors, banks, tax authorities, and other stakeholders. Support and challenge business units and stimulate value creation across all areas of the company. Required Qualifications and Experience for GM Finance – Financial Management Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent is essential. Substantial experience (typically 10+ years) in progressively senior finance roles, preferably within international or multi-entity environments. Demonstrable experience in financial leadership, strategic planning, and team management. Advanced knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards, and compliance frameworks. Strong understanding of financial systems, ERP platforms, and advanced MS Excel skills. Proven track record of successful stakeholder management and organisational partnership. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Fluency in English is required; additional languages are advantageous.
