Job Overview

We are looking for an Associate Director (AD) or Director to join our market research team and provide oversight for the team in India (Currently ~5 MR India staff).

This individual will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the India team, which will include:

  • deliverables (internal and external) before they are shared with project leads
  • develop research materials (e.g. questionnaires, screeners, discussion guides, topline slides, final reports, etc.), providing feedback and guidance to junior staff as necessary
  • day-to-day workload for the India team, ensuring support is reallocated based on capacity/priorities
  • and mentoring staff in India
  • junior members meet deadlines for project timelines
  • communication with clients
  • Market Research engagements from start to finish- from proposal writing to final presentation

They should have a strong background of hands on research in terms of design and presentation creation. They will guide, train and coach juniors and will have line management responsibilities. As a new role, the short-term focus will be on managing the OffShore team with the potential to transition to leading engagements.

Ideally this individual will have qualitative and quantitative experience in primary market research, but we would also entertain candidates who only have experience in quant.

  • This role can be predominantly remote, although the individual will be asked to come to the office for training sessions, team socials and brainstorming on presentations on an as needed basis

Qualifications:

A strong educational background (a Bachelor’s degree as a minimum)

7+ years’ experience in a market research agency

Experience working in healthcare or pharmaceuticals projects

Ideally experience in both qual and quant, quant is necessary

A desire to work in a client-focused, commercial environment

Desire to coach and mentor junior team members

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word and PowerPoint
