Job Title: Compliance Engineer
Experience: 5 to 12 Years
Education: BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech in ECE/EEE
Location: Bangalore
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of EMC design rules, such as cable segregation, earthing, shielding specifications, equipotential grounding, etc.
- Perform electromagnetic interference design and troubleshooting analysis
- Knowledge of antennas and electromagnetic propagation
- Perform EMI/ESD testing and troubleshooting and provide recommendations for mitigation where needed
- Experience in analysis of electromagnetic interference and finding the root cause of EMI/EMC problems.
- Engage in problem solving activities to address tool/facility emissions and immunity issues
- Support all EMC Design activity for assigned project or projects
- Support EMC simulation and power integrity activities
- Coordinate EMC pre-compliance testing for assigned projects
- Perform EMC design reviews
- Abel to write product test reports and maintain all compliance technical documents.
- Create and manage test plans with internal and external test labs to validate product design and performance specifications.
- Create laboratory test specifications and procedures.
- Good logical sense, strong technical skills, and the ability to learn new technologies.
- Strong documentation and writing skills.
- Should have good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication.
Required Skills:
- Must have strong high speed product design knowledge.
- Deep understanding of EMC; RF certification processes in global markets and electrical safety added advantage.
- Familiarity with lab equipment (network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, Immunity testers)
