The ideal candidate will have 6 to 8 years of experience in the field and possess a strong skill set in automation testing tools and techniques, with proficiency in Selenium, Java, Appium, BDD, and API automation.Responsibilities : - Develop and execute automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver for web application testing.- Design and implement automated tests for mobile applications using Appium.- Create and maintain test frameworks and infrastructure for efficient test execution.- Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and timely bug identification.- Implement Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) methodologies for test automation.- Perform API testing to validate the functionality and performance of web services, particularly REST APIs.- Participate in the planning and execution of test strategies, test plans, and test cases.- Troubleshoot and debug automation scripts to identify and resolve issues.- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in QA automation and implement them as appropriate.- Document test results, defects, and test cases for reference and reporting.Requirements : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.- Rich experience in QA automation testing, with a focus on Selenium, Java, Appium, BDD, and API automation.- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java for test automation scripting.- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for web application testing.- Strong understanding of mobile automation testing using Appium.- Experience in implementing and executing BDD frameworks for test automation.- Familiarity with API testing tools and techniques, particularly for RESTful APIs.- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.- Effective communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams.
