Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of our instruments and equipment at client sites. The role requires excellent technical skills, customer service orientation, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation & Commissioning: Install and commission instruments and equipment at customer sites, ensuring optimal functionality.
- Maintenance & Repair: Conduct routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs of instruments and equipment to ensure minimal downtime.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions to minimize service disruptions.
- Customer Support: Provide technical support and training to customers on the proper use and maintenance of instruments and equipment.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed service reports, including maintenance records, troubleshooting steps, and parts replaced.
- Spare Parts Management: Manage spare parts inventory, ensuring availability and timely replenishment.
- Field Visits: Travel to customer locations as required to perform service tasks and provide on-site support.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and product teams to address customer feedback and improve product performance.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated with new product developments and advancements in the industry to provide the best service possible.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electronics, Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Service Engineer or similar role,
- Strong technical skills in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining complex equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers effectively.
- Willingness to travel frequently and work independently.
