About the Role:
Physicswallah is hiring a Regional Nodal Officer to lead on-ground operations including legal handling, government & police liaison, vendor management, and student welfare coordination. This is a field-intensive role suited for individuals who are proactive, dependable, and comfortable working with authorities and internal teams alike.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle local legal matters and provide legal guidance to the team.
- Manage emergency situations and critical on-ground incidents.
- Liaison with police, government departments, and regulatory bodies.
- Onboard and manage vendors for accommodation, transport, and mess services.
- Lead welfare programs for student well-being, including crisis support and grievance handling.
- Conduct audits, maintain documentation, and present operational reports.
Who We're Looking For:
- 4+ years of relevant experience (legal, government liaison, regulatory, or student-facing roles).
- Graduate/Postgraduate, preferably in Law, Public Policy, or Administration.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with regional legal and governance systems; fluency in local language (Gujarati) is a plus.
