You will provide deeper functionality and solutions to address customer needs. You will work closely with software engineers, architects, product managers, and partner teams to get high-quality products and features through the agile software development lifecycle. We are seeking a seasoned System Architect with deep expertise in enterprise job scheduling tools such as Control-M and IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing scheduling architectures that support complex batch processing environments across hybrid infrastructures. Design scalable and resilient scheduling architectures usingControl-M ,TWS , or similar toolsDefine system components and integration points based on cost-benefit analysis and user requirementsPartition large systems into manageable subsystems for efficient scheduling and monitoringLead deployment and configuration acrossmainframe ,distributed , andcloudenvironmentsIntegrate scheduling platforms with enterprise applications, databases, and monitoring toolsDevelop and maintainjob flows ,calendars ,dependencies , andrecovery proceduresAnalyze batch performance and optimize job scheduling to reduce latency and improve throughputMaintain scheduling environments, includingpatching ,upgrades , anddisaster recovery planningEnsure compliance withsecurityandauditrequirementsCollaborate with application teams, infrastructure engineers, and business stakeholdersProvideLevel 2/3 supportand participate in24x7 on-call rotationsDocument architecture, job flows, and operational proceduresYour continuous grooming of features/user stories to estimate, identify technical risks/dependencies and clearly communicate them to project stakeholders will ensure the features are delivered with the right quality and within timeline. You will maintain and drive the clearing of technical debt, vulnerabilities, and currency of the 3rd party components within the product.As a Software Engineering Technical Specialist, you will also coach and mentor engineers to design and implement highly available, secure, distributed software in a scalable architecture.
