Job Title : Database SpecialistExperience : 812 YearsLocation : Bangalore (Hybrid)Key Responsibilities / KRAs :- Design, architect, and implement scalable database solutions for large-scale enterprise systems.- Develop and optimize data models, schemas, and database designs to ensure data integrity, scalability, and performance.- Manage and maintain cloud-based databases leveraging AWS services such as Aurora, RDS, and S3.- Implement and support distributed database models (SQL & NoSQL) with focus on performance tuning and optimization.- Build and maintain REST APIs using FastAPI to integrate database solutions with applications.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, DevOps, analytics) to deliver robust and efficient database-driven solutions.- Ensure database security, compliance, backup, disaster recovery, and monitoring.- Conduct performance analysis and implement optimization strategies for high availability and reliability.- Provide technical guidance and best practices to development teams on database design and data access patterns.- Stay updated with emerging database technologies and integrate them into solutions where applicable.Mandatory Skills : - 8+ years of overall technology experience with strong expertise in database systems.- 5+ years of proven experience in data modeling and database design.- 7+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and supporting medium-to-large scale databases.- 5+ years of experience in AWS services (Aurora, S3, RDS, storage technologies).- 4+ years of experience in designing, developing, and tuning solutions using AWS databases.- Expertise in SQL & NoSQL distributed database models.- Strong experience with FastAPI for API design and integration.- Solid understanding of MySQL and PostgreSQL.- Advanced Python programming skills for database-related automation and development.Preferred Skills : - Experience with database migration, modernization, and automation in cloud environments.- Strong knowledge of database monitoring and observability tools.
