to: Business HeadLocation: MumbaiRole Purpose: This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive business growth through innovative product development and effective marketing strategies.Key Responsibilities:Brand Strategy and Development:- Develop and execute comprehensive brand strategies to enhance market presence and drive growth.- Conduct market research to identify trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activity.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align brand goals with business objectives.White Space Analysis:- Identify untapped market opportunities (white spaces) through consumer insights and market analysis.- Develop strategies to capitalize on these opportunities, ensuring alignment with brand positioning.New Product Development (NPD):- Lead the development of new products, ensuring they meet consumer needs and brand standards.- Work closely with R&D, marketing, and sales teams to launch innovative products that drive category growth.Launch Management:- Coordinate all aspects of new product launches, including marketing campaigns, packaging design, and distribution logistics.- Ensure timely and successful launches by managing timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations.Packaging and Design:- Oversee the design and development of packaging that reflects brand identity and appeals to target consumers.- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and brand standards.Consumer Experience:- Manage consumer feedback and insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.- Foster a consumer-centric approach across the organization.Team Leadership:- Supervise a team of consumer affairs coordinators and other relevant staff.- Coach team members to enhance their skills and performance.Budget Management:- Allocate and manage brand budgets effectively to achieve marketing and sales objectives.- Monitor ROI on marketing initiatives and adjust strategies as needed.Collaboration and Communication:- Work closely with advertising agencies, distributors, and other external partners to execute brand strategies.- Communicate brand performance and strategies to senior management and stakeholders.Skills and Qualifications:- MBA Preferred with 7+ years of experience brand management or a related role, with experience in product development and marketing strategy.- Strong analytical, strategic, and communication skills. Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.- Understanding of consumer trends, market dynamics, and product development processes. (ref:iimjobs.com)
