Job Title: Procurement Consultant – Automotive Components (Contract)

Location: Aurangabad, India (On-site at Client Location – Leading Tier-1 Automotive Player)

Contract Duration: 3–4 Months

Experience Level: Mid-tenure Associate Equivalent (4–10 years)

Job Description:

We are seeking a mid-tenure procurement associate with hands-on experience in the automotive components sector, preferably within the 2-wheeler (2W) segment, to support a short-term engagement with one of our prominent Tier-1 automotive clients in Aurangabad. The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting procurement operations, executing sourcing strategies, and managing supplier interactions during the assignment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support procurement operations including sourcing, vendor management, and negotiation for automotive components.
  • Collaborate with the client's internal teams to implement procurement strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Evaluate and compare supplier quotations, assist in vendor selection, and manage onboarding processes.
  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure timely resolution of supply or quality issues.
  • Maintain up-to-date procurement documentation and support cost optimization initiatives.

Requirements:

  • 4–10 years of experience in procurement or sourcing within the automotive components industry.
  • Preferable background in the 2-wheeler (2W) segment.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes and vendor development in automotive.
  • Proficient in negotiation and supplier relationship management.
  • Willing to work on-site in Aurangabad for the full duration of the contract.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Contract Type: Temporary / Consulting Assignment
  • Start Date: Immediate joiners preferred
  • Travel & Accommodation: All travel and accommodation expenses will be sponsored by the client.
  • Working Arrangement: Full-time, on-site
