About Us:

AVI Renewable Energy Pvt Ltd is an EPC company primarily focused on installation of solar powered water pumping systems across India, with an emphasis on Haryana, Punjab, Maharashtra, Punjab, Rajasthan, etc. 


Responsibilities:

Overall Responsibility:

  • Lead the HR department, setting up processes, driving people management strategies, and managing execution of HR Strategy and core areas including Recruitment, Employee Relations, Workforce Administration, Employee Engagement, Payroll, and Reward and Recognition.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, professional standards, policies, and procedures, and develop HR policies tailored to the needs of the company, ensuring compliance and effectiveness in supporting business objectives.
  • Provide professional leadership, support and development to HR staff, in order to increase knowledge, share best practice and to ensure that relevant professional standards are met.
  • Drive the continuous improvement agenda with focus on engagement & welfare activities, maximising productivity, devolving HR responsibilities to line managers and building leadership capability.
  • Promote and execute a plan for diversity, equality, and inclusion aligning with company values and strategy, and take a lead role in transforming and strengthening organizational culture.
  • Conduct strategic workforce planning, analyzing current and future workforce needs, identifying skill gaps, and developing strategies to address them.
  • Develop succession plans for key roles, ensuring a seamless transition of talent.
  • Create and manage budget for HR purposes.
  • Implement HR analytics to drive data-driven decision-making and inform HR strategies and initiatives.
  • Develop, implement, and manage a performance appraisal system aligned with organizational goals.


Day-to-Day Work:

  • Regularly coach, mentor, and support senior colleagues to identify strengths and development needs, maintain effective relationships, and encourage retention.
  • Manage training, learning, and development initiatives, and drive continuous improvement agenda focusing on engagement, welfare activities, productivity, and leadership capability.
  • Ensure workforce well-being and attract new talent, and provide reports on HR, Payroll, and Learning and Development areas.
  • Advise on effective employment policies across the company, and ensure managers have necessary skills and guidance to manage workforce issues.
  • Ensure managers are sufficiently skilled and enabled to access appropriate guidance and information to manage workforce issues.
  • Lead the hiring process for heads of other departments, ensuring alignment with company goals and values.
  • Design evaluation criteria, metrics, and training for fair and effective performance assessments.
  • Ensure timely performance reviews, analyze results, and collaborate with stakeholders for continuous improvement.

  • Managing HR budget effectively.
  • Recruitment cost per hire.
  • Completion rate of performance appraisals.
  • Talent Management and Development:
  • Attracting and retaining top talent.
  • Implementing talent development programs and succession plans.
  • Tracking employee satisfaction and turnover rates.
  • Training hours per employee.
  • Percentage of employees achieving development goals.
  • Participation rates in development programs.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Work experience of about 5 years managing HR department of a company with at least 200 employees or more is required.
  • MBA from a good institute is preferred.


CTC: 18 to 30 lacs per annum (negotiable based on previous experience and skillset)
