About the Role:

We are hiring a Payroll & Invoicing Officer in Ahmedabad to manage Australian client payroll, invoicing, and support. Candidates must have accounting knowledge, experience with Australian payroll, and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process end-to-end payroll for Australian clients, ensuring compliance with Fair Work regulations, ATO requirements and relevant EBAs/Awards.
  • Maintain accurate employee data, timesheets and payroll records.
  • Calculate and process PAYG withholding, superannuation, allowances, deductions and leave entitlements.
  • Ensure timely preparation and dispatch of client invoices.
  • Monitor client billing cycles and follow up on outstanding invoices when required.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to client queries related to payroll, invoicing and to internal team members.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies or escalate issues where needed.
  • Assist in preparing and lodging STP (Single Touch Payroll) reports with the ATO.
  • Stay updated with changes in Australian payroll laws and taxation guidelines.
  • Provide support during payroll audits, reconciliations and year-end Finalisation tasks.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong accounting and payroll knowledge (with a focus on Australian standards)
  • Experience in client billing and invoice management
  • Familiar with payroll & accounting softwares like Xero, salesforce, MYOB, Employment Hero etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise with Australian clients

Qualifications:

  • B.Com/ M.com / Inter CA / MBA in Finance or equivalent
  • 2–5 years of payroll and accounting experience, preferably with Australian clients

Shift Timings : 5 Am to 1 Pm
