Role & Responsibilities:

  • Financial Statement preparation and Statutory & Internal Audits
  • Plan and execute the annual and quarterly statutory audit process in line with accounting standards and regulatory requirements as per SEBI InvIT LODR.
  • Coordinate with external auditors for Statutory Audit & Internal Audit, identify audit risks, prepare risk-based plans, schedule audit activities, prepare financial statements (including consolidation) and ensure timely completion of the audit engagements.
  • Review and analyse audit findings, ensuring appropriate corrective actions are implemented.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial disclosures, adhering to applicable accounting principles.
  • Monitor compliance with accounting policies, financial reporting frameworks, and other relevant regulatory guidelines.
  • Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and communicate implications to the finance team and senior management.
  • Assess the effectiveness of internal controls and financial reporting systems to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to implement control enhancements and best practices.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage technology to automate preparation of financials and to audit procedures.


Other activities:

  • Present insightful analysis, key trends, key performance indicators and variance analysis.
  • Coordinating with other functions to ensure timely and accurate financial information are available for internal and external reporting.
  • Assist in implementation of ERP (SAP) including designing and performing UAT, designing workflow, monitoring go-live etc.


Requirement:

  • 0 to 3 years of experience in preparation of Financial Statements, Consolidation, Statutory Audit, preferably with exposure to the renewable energy/ infrastructure sector/ listed Invit/ listed Company.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and audit procedures.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance in the renewable energy industry.
  • Proven experience in managing and coordinating statutory audits with external auditors, preferably Big 4s.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to lead and manage audit engagements independently and meet deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of SAP and other tools like Hyperion, Tableau etc. will be added advantage.
