Job Summary: Spearhead Technology is looking for a seasoned Senior IT Support Executive with 5-7 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and upkeep of all IT equipment and software, ensuring smooth operations and optimal functionality. This role requires proficiency in managing Operating Systems, Office 365, SharePoint, and firewall systems, preferably Zoho Endpoint. As the primary custodian of IT service tickets, the Senior IT Support Executive will deliver prompt support to both internal employees (onsite and remote) and clients.


Roles and Responsibilities:


1.IT Infrastructure Maintenance

  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot IT hardware and software across the organization.
  • Provide upkeep and ensure the smooth running of systems, including but not limited to Operating Systems (Windows, MacOS, etc.), Office 365, and SharePoint.


2.Service Desk Management

  • Serve as the primary custodian of IT service tickets, ensuring efficient and timely troubleshooting.
  • Prioritize and resolve support requests, providing proactive solutions to minimize downtime.


3.Firewall and Security Management

  • Manage and monitor firewall systems, with a preference for experience in Zoho Endpoint.
  • Ensure data protection and cybersecurity standards are met, regularly updating security protocols.


4.User Account and Access Management

  • Manage user accounts and password policies across all platforms.
  • Assist users with password resets, account access issues, and resource allocation in both Azure and AWS environments.


5.Software Patch and Update Management

  • Oversee software patch releases and ensure timely updates across all devices and systems.


6.VPN and Remote Access Support

  • Manage and support VPN access for remote users, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and ensure secure and stable VPN operations.


7.IT Equipment and Software Procurement

  • Handle the purchase and inventory management of IT equipment to meet organizational needs.

8.Documentation and Process Management

  • Create and maintain IT documentation, user guides, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for internal use and troubleshooting guidance.


Requirements:


  • Minimum Graduate, preferably in IT.
  • Proven experience as an IT Senior Support Specialist or similar role
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience
  • Strong working knowledge of computer systems, hardware, security, software, and networks
  • Strong working knowledge of various operating systems (Windows and macOS) and Office 365
  • Expertise in Account Management and Access Control
  • Strong working knowledge of Firewalls and VPN.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Customer-focused with outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
