Senior Software Engineer, Salesfoce Marketing Cloud

The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Salesforce development you will participate in and eventually lead Marketing Cloud implementations. While mostly focused on delivery, you may be involved across the entire project lifecycle, including presales. An integral part of your role will be working with clients to further their digital marketing through Marketing Cloud usage. You will act as a trusted source of knowledge to advise clients in line with Marketing Cloud best practice and its growing number of capabilities to ultimately build a vision for a multi-channel roadmap.Responsibilities:Solution Implementation:Utilize knowledge of Marketing Cloud to enhance customer-facing and internal processesDevelop, configure, implement and data migration working with Marketing Cloud and other integrationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize Marketing Cloud solutionsCommunicate project concepts and outcomes to client project stakeholdersDesign and delivery of solutions in Email Studio including A / B testingDesign and implement, for automated email/mobile journeys using Email Studio, Mobile Studio, Automation Studio and Journey Builder, and advise clients on how to optimize furtherStrong understanding of digital marketing KPIs, such as email marketing, PPC and other marketing conversion metricsExperience in reporting and analyzing email activity using Email Studio reports and Journey Builder. (Nice to have) proficiency with Data Views and Discover Reports within Analytics Builder, Einstein EngagementDesign and/or build integrations between Marketing Cloud and 3rd party applications or data sources like SnowflakeConduct user training and actively promote user adoption of Marketing CloudTrack record for delivering marketing automation projects in a fast-paced environment, and able to successfully keep to deadlinesTake ownership of projects and deliver quality solutions within timelinesCollaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, and provide innovative solutions aligned with Owens & Minor’s core values.Integration & Technical acumen:Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise systemsEnsure the quality and performance of the implemented solutions through code reviews, testing, and optimization.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Salesforce with other systems and external data sourcesEnsure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and security protocolsTroubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring platform stability and performanceQualifications:Minimum of 5 years of hands-on Salesforce development experienceAbility to work with clients to design customer journeys, and associated data models.Extensive experience with Marketing Cloud Studios & Builders, most importantly Email Studio, Content Builder, Journey Builder and Automation Studio, and ideally also Cloud Pages and Mobile StudioUnderstanding how to build a custom preference centerConceptual understanding, to be able to establish data models, work with API’s and configurationsKnowledge of 1+ of the 6 programming languages in SFMC: AMPScript, HTML and CSS, SSJS and/or JavaScript, SQL (andQuery Studio experience) or Guide Template LanguageExperience with Salesforce CRM (Sales & Service Cloud, Communities)Strong understanding of data modeling, database design, and data security principlesExcellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skillsStrong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teamsExperience in mentoring team membersWork Hours:This role requires working in India Standard Time (IST) hours during a portion of US hours to ensure seamless collaboration with the onshore team and stakeholdersAdditional QualificationsThe following areas would be a plusSnowflake integrationCertified Marketing Cloud ConsultantCertified Marketing Cloud Email SpecialistIf you feel this opportunity could be the next step in your career, we encourage you to apply.
