Corporate Accounting Manager

Role Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Corporate Accounting Manager to oversee the company's financial operations, ensure compliance, and manage reporting functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, corporate finance, and team management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations.

- Maintain accurate and timely financial records and ensure consistency across financial statements.

- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

- Generate MIS reports for internal stakeholders to aid in financial decision-making.

- Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements including GST, TDS, and other applicable taxes.

- Manage tax filings and ensure timely submissions in accordance with Indian laws.

- Coordinate with statutory, internal, and tax auditors during audits.

- Monitor cash flow and working capital needs.

- Prepare and manage budgets and financial forecasts in collaboration with senior leadership.

- Implement, maintain, and upgrade accounting systems and software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks).

- Design and enforce robust internal controls and accounting policies to safeguard organizational assets.

- Provide financial insights and data-driven recommendations to support strategic initiatives and growth plans.

- Work closely with leadership to align financial planning with organizational goals.

- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team.

- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and accountability within the department.

Key Requirements:

- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CA/CPA preferred.

- 5-7 years of corporate accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.

- Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, taxation laws, and compliance requirements.

- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks) and MS Excel.

- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
