The role involves preparing and reviewing legal documents, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, managing legal affairs, and providing legal consulting to various departments. The position requires a detail-oriented professional with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to balance independent work with cross-functional collaboration.Key Responsibilities (KRA)- Draft, review, and finalize legal documents, contracts, and agreements.- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and statutory requirements.- Provide legal advice and consultation to management and business teams.- Represent the company in legal matters, arbitration, or litigation as required.- Liaise with external legal counsel for specialized legal issues.- Maintain and update legal records, documentation, and case files.- Conduct legal research and analyze the impact of new laws or amendments on business operations.- Support internal teams in resolving disputes and mitigating legal risks.- Contribute to policy formulation and ensure adherence to corporate governance standards.Required Skillsets- 3 to 5 years of experience in corporate legal roles, preferably in manufacturing or agriculture sectors.- Strong knowledge of contract law, company law, compliance frameworks, and legal procedures.- Proven expertise in legal document preparation, drafting, and vetting.- Ability to manage legal disputes, arbitration, and litigation processes.- Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.- Proficiency in MS Office and legal research tools.- Bachelors or Masters degree in Law (LLB/LLM).- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
