Inviting applications for the role of Senior Principal Consultant-Solution Architect - Python

In this role, As a Solution Architect with a focus on Python, your role revolves around designing and implementing software solutions leveraging Python programming language.

Responsibilities

· Analyze business requirements and design scalable, robust software solutions using Python. This involves understanding the problem domain, identifying technical challenges, and architecting solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements.

· Stay updated with the Python ecosystem and evaluate libraries, frameworks, and tools that align with project requirements. This may include assessing web frameworks (Django, Flask), data processing libraries (Pandas, NumPy), and cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) to determine the best-fit technologies for the solution.

· Develop prototypes and PoCs to validate technical feasibility and demonstrate proposed solutions to stakeholders. This may involve rapid iteration, experimentation, and feedback gathering to refine the solution architecture.

· Lead or participate in the development of software solutions using Python. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to coding standards and best practices. Collaborate with software engineers to implement features, modules, and integrations as per the architecture design.

· Create architecture documents, diagrams, and technical specifications to communicate the design and implementation details to development teams, stakeholders, and clients. Ensure documentation is comprehensive, up-to-date, and accessible for reference.

· Identify performance bottlenecks in Python-based systems and optimize code, algorithms, and infrastructure to improve scalability, responsiveness, and resource efficiency. Conduct profiling, tuning, and benchmarking to achieve optimal performance.

· Design and implement integrations between Python-based systems and external services, APIs, databases, and third-party applications. Ensure seamless data exchange, interoperability, and compatibility with existing IT infrastructure.

· Implement security best practices in Python applications to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and comply with industry regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA). This includes authentication, authorization, encryption, and secure coding practices.

· Define testing strategies and collaborate with QA engineers to develop test plans, automated tests, and test cases for Python applications. Conduct code reviews, static analysis, and quality checks to ensure software reliability, stability, and maintainability.

· Design systems that can scale horizontally and vertically to handle growing workloads and user traffic. Implement fault tolerance, redundancy, and disaster recovery mechanisms to ensure high availability and resilience against failures.

· Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes for Python applications. Utilize tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Travis CI to streamline development workflows and accelerate time-to-market.

· Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to development teams. Foster a collaborative work environment, facilitate knowledge sharing, and promote best practices in software engineering and architecture.

Qualifications we seek in you

Minimum Qualifications

· Experience on Python

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.

· Expertise in Python programming language, including proficiency in core concepts, data structures, and libraries.

· Strong understanding of Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI for web development.

· Ability to design scalable, reliable, and maintainable software architectures using Python.

· Experience with architectural patterns (e.g., MVC, Microservices, Serverless) and design principles (e.g., SOLID, DRY).

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

· Relevant certifications demonstrating proficiency in Python programming or solution architecture (e.g., Python Institute Certified Python Developer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, etc.).

· Experience with Python-based data processing and analysis libraries/frameworks such as Pandas, NumPy, and SciPy.

· Familiarity with Python-based machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.

· Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
