Description :Role : OS Administrator.Mandatory Skills :- CIS, Operating Systems, Azure Cloud, Linux, VMWare, RedHat.Experience : - 5+ Years.Locations :- Bangalore.Notice Period :- Immediate to 30 Days.Responsibilities :- Install, configure, and maintain Linux (RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu) and Windows Server operating systems.- Perform system updates, patches, and security hardening.- Troubleshoot and resolve operating system related issues.- Monitor system performance and implement optimization strategies.- Manage and maintain VMware vSphere environments.- Deploy, configure, and manage virtual machines.- Perform virtual machine migrations and resource allocation.- Troubleshoot and resolve virtualization related issues.- Manage and maintain Azure Virtual Machines and related services.- Deploy and configure Azure resources using Azure Portal and CLI.- Implement and manage Azure security best practices.- Monitor and optimize Azure resource utilization and costs.- Implement and maintain security policies and procedures based on CIS benchmarks.- Perform security audits and vulnerability assessments.- Implement and manage access controls and user permissions.- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.- Develop and maintain scripts for automating system administration tasks.- Utilize configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet) to automate system configuration.- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployments.- Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.- Prepare regular reports on system performance, security, and availability.- Maintain accurate inventory of hardware and software assets.- Collaborate with developers, network engineers, and other IT professionals.- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users.- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.Mandatory Skills and Expertise :- Strong experience with Linux (RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu) and Windows Server operating systems.- Expertise in system administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.- Proficiency in VMware vSphere management.- Experience with virtual machine deployment, configuration, and management.- Experience with Azure cloud services, including Azure Virtual Machines.- Knowledge of Azure networking and security best practices.- Strong understanding of CIS benchmarks and security hardening techniques.- Experience with security audits and vulnerability assessments.- Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell).- Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet).- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.- 5+ years of experience as an OS Administrator.- Relevant certifications (RHCSA, RHCE, VCP, Azure Administrator) are highly desirable.- Candidates must be ready to join within 30 days or immediately (ref:hirist.tech)
