Role Overview :

Join as a Software Architect responsible for defining technical direction, system architecture, and development standards for performance-critical, globally distributed C++/Unix systems. You will guide engineering teams and collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and design scalable, fault-tolerant, and resilient backend systems to meet business requirements.

- Define and enforce software development standards, coding guidelines, and design patterns across teams.

- Review and provide constructive feedback on technical designs and implementations.

- Lead architectural discussions and decision-making processes with global engineering and product stakeholders.

- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and frameworks to improve system efficiency and scalability.

- Drive adoption of best practices around CI/CD, automated testing, and performance monitoring.

- Collaborate with security teams to ensure system compliance with security and regulatory standards.

- Support incident response and post-incident analysis from an architectural perspective to improve system robustness.

- Mentor senior engineers and influence cross-team collaboration and technical alignment.

Requirements :

- 10+ years of hands-on experience in modern C++ development.

- Strong expertise in Unix/Linux system internals, multithreaded programming, and performance optimization.

- Proficient with debugging, profiling, and build tools such as Git, gdb, Valgrind, and CMake.

- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and testing frameworks.

- Familiarity with networking protocols and distributed system architecture.

- Experience with C++20, Boost, STL, or other modern C++ libraries.

- Practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.

- Exposure to Java (Spring Boot) and Redis. (ref:hirist.tech)
