Position DetailsJob Title: BIM CoordinatorLocation: Kempegowda International Airport (BIAL), BengaluruRole PurposeThe BIM Coordinator will lead the integration of Building Information Modeling (BIM) across design, PMC, and construction phases for large-scale mixed-use commercial and infrastructure projects. The role demands expertise in BIM strategy, model compliance, multidisciplinary coordination, and digital construction workflows to ensure high-quality, data-rich deliverables aligned with project goals.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and enforce BIM Execution Plans (BEP), standards, protocols, and workflows.Coordinate BIM model development with design, PMC, and construction teams to meet project scope, schedule, and quality requirements.Integrate models from external consultants/subcontractors and ensure federated model integrity, including clash detection and resolution.Provide support, mentoring, and training to project teams on BIM tools, authoring platforms, and workflows.Actively participate in design coordination meetings, BIM reviews, and integration workshops.Monitor and enforce compliance with BIM standards (ISO 19650, PAS 1192) and industry best practices.Drive continuous improvement by implementing enhancements to BIM workflows and digital processes.Interface with architects, consultants, contractors, and clients to manage BIM deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.Oversee model handover, as-built documentation, digital twin preparation, and data transfer to facilities management.Ensure alignment of BIM models with cost, schedule, constructability, logistics, and final handover requirements.Expertise & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or equivalent.8–12 years of experience in BIM for commercial/real estate projects; experience in airport or infrastructure projects is an added advantage.Strong background in BIM modeling, design coordination, and digital construction workflows.Expertise in clash detection, federated model management, and handling multi-discipline projects.Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks Manage, AutoCAD, BIM 360/ACC, Dynamo, and related tools.Strong knowledge of BIM standards (ISO 19650, PAS 1192) and Common Data Environments (CDE).Understanding of 4D/5D modeling, digital deliverables, and project information management.Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work effectively in multi-stakeholder and fast-paced environments.Why Join Turner Construction?Lead BIM for large-scale, high-visibility projects in Bengaluru.Opportunity to shape digital construction workflows and elevate BIM maturity.Work closely with top-tier design, construction, and project management teams.Competitive compensation and progressive work environment.
