The role involves developing, testing, and optimizing embedded software for smart home devices, including Wi-Fi modules, FreeRTOS-based systems, and IoT-enabled solutions. Responsibilities include writing efficient code, designing scalable software architecture, and ensuring reliable hardware-software integration. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to build robust, user-friendly smart home products that meet the highest standards of performance and quality.QualificationsStrong proficiency in Embedded C/C++ programmingHands-on experience with Embedded Software Development for IoT or smart home productsExpertise in FreeRTOS, RTOS concepts, and real-time task schedulingExperience with Wi-Fi modules (ESP32, ESP8266, or similar) and wireless communication protocols (MQTT, BLE, Zigbee preferred)Solid debugging and troubleshooting skills using tools like JTAG, logic analyzers, or oscilloscopesUnderstanding of software design patterns, architecture, and optimization for low-power devicesBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, or related fieldsStrong problem-solving mindset and keen attention to detailAbility to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary teamKnowledge of cloud integration and OTA updates is a plus
