Role Description We are seeking a full-time, on-site Embedded Software Engineer for our Ahmedabad office. The role involves developing, testing, and optimizing embedded software for smart home devices, including Wi-Fi modules, Free RTOS-based systems, and Io T-enabled solutions. Responsibilities include writing efficient code, designing scalable software architecture, and ensuring reliable hardware-software integration. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to build robust, user-friendly smart home products that meet the highest standards of performance and quality. Qualifications Strong proficiency in Embedded C/C++ programming Hands-on experience with Embedded Software Development for Io T or smart home products Expertise in Free RTOS , RTOS concepts, and real-time task scheduling Experience with Wi-Fi modules (ESP32, ESP8266, or similar) and wireless communication protocols (MQTT, BLE, Zigbee preferred) Solid debugging and troubleshooting skills using tools like JTAG, logic analyzers, or oscilloscopes Understanding of software design patterns, architecture, and optimization for low-power devices Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, or related fields Strong problem-solving mindset and keen attention to detail Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team Knowledge of cloud integration and OTA updates is a plus
