- Reporting To: Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) & Sales Head
JOB SUMMARY
The HR Business Partner for a premium sanitaryware and lighting brand in India will provide HR strategies to support the sales department's needs. Responsibilities include effective manpower planning, recruitment, and development of talent acquisition strategies. This role is crucial in enhancing the sales team's skills through tailored training programs, managing performance, and fostering employee engagement to retain top performers. They must also ensure HR compliance, collaborate on cross-functional initiatives, and provide insights to sales leadership on HR metrics.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as a strategic partner to the sales department, understanding their needs and aligning HR strategies and initiatives accordingly.
- Collaborate with sales leadership team to develop and implement effective manpower planning and understand their staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies to attract top sales talent. This may involve sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and managing the hiring process with the help of Talent Acquisition vertical.
- Identify training needs within the sales team and develop training programs to enhance their skills and knowledge in coordination with Training vertical. This could include sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer relationship management
- Drive performance management processes to assess and enhance the productivity and effectiveness of the sales team.
- Provide guidance and support to sales managers on employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary matters.
- Implement employee engagement initiatives to improve morale and retention within the sales function.
- Stay updated on employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices to ensure compliance and optimize HR processes.
- Collaborate with other HR teams to drive cross-functional projects and initiatives.
- Conduct regular analysis of HR metrics and provide insights and recommendations to the sales leadership team
- Control attrition, especially for Hi Performers and create programs for ring fencing them
REQUIRED SKILL SET
Education & Qualifications Required
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance or a related field. A Masters in business administration in Human Resources is preferred.
- Minimum 15 Years Plus relevant experience, at least 5 Years of experience of Business Human Resources.
Competencies:
- Proven experience in HRBP leadership roles, preferably within a multinational or large-scale organization.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders and influence decision-making.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve goals and objectives.
- Analytical mindset with excellent understanding of people challenges and having a solution oriented approach.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
