RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES :

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and data engineers, to understand project requirements and functional specifications.

- Create and execute detailed test plans and test cases based on requirements.

- Identify, document, and track bugs using industry-standard tools.

- Ensure issues/tickets adhere to detailed criteria, leaving no room for ambiguity.

- Identify patterns of recurring bugs across different features/products and flag them for the team.

- Report on test progress, defects, and overall quality status.

- Participate in requirement reviews and provide input from a testing perspective.

- Continuously learn and enhance testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.

- Participate in code reviews to ensure testability and maintainability of the codebase.

- Investigate and reproduce reported issues and provide detailed reports to aid in debugging and resolution.

Ideal Candidate :

- Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

- 2-3 years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on manual testing, preferably with a product company

- Must have experience in software testing in the areas of SaaS microservices/API Testing

- Familiarity with bug tracking tools and test management software.

- Extensively worked on various Testing types such as Integration, System, Functional, Regression, Sanity, Smoke, User-interface (GUI) Testing, API Testing.

- Expertise in writing Test strategy, Test Plan Preparation and Implementation, Test Case Design, Test Tool usage, Test execution, Defect Management and Defect Tracking.

- Knowledge of SQL and MongoDB, as well as database testing is an advantage.

- Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.

- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD processes.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
