THIS IS A LONG TERM CONTRACT POSITION WITH ONE OF THE LARGEST, GLOBAL, TECHNOLOGY LEADER .Looking for an experiencedSenior Snowflake Engineerto design, build, and optimize modern data solutions onSnowflakesupporting portfolio analytics, client reporting, and compliance.Primary Skills– Snowflake Development, SQL (Advanced Query Optimization), Data Modeling, ELT/ETL Design, DBT, Python/Shell Scripting, Snowflake Architecture (Role-Based Security, Performance Tuning), Finance Domain Data Engineering Secondary Skills– AWS, CI/CD Tools, Git (Version Control), AI/ML Workflow Exposure, Data Governance & CompliancePreferred Qualifications 7+ years of overall experience in Data Engineering, with 4+ years inSnowflake development . Proven experience working withFinance domain data systems . Strong expertise inSQL optimizationfor complex pipelines. Hands-on experience withDBTfor scalable data transformations. Proficiency inPython or Shell scriptingfor workflow automation. Familiarity withCI/CD pipelines and Git-based version control . Knowledge ofAWS Cloud ServicesandAI/ML workflowsis a plus. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.Responsibilities Design, develop, and optimize scalableSnowflake data models and pipelines . LeadELT/ETL design and implementationusing SQL, DBT, and scripting. Ensurequery performance optimizationand high data availability. Implementrole-based security and governancewithin Snowflake. Integrate Snowflake withfinancial data systemsand analytics platforms. Collaborate with cross-functional teams forreporting, compliance, and analyticsrequirements. Maintain high-quality code throughcode reviews, CI/CD practices, and Git workflows .
