Role and Responsibilities :

API Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and secure RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs to support various client-side applications (web, mobile).

Core Logic Implementation: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented server-side code using a combination of Node.js, Python, and Java.

Database Management: Design and optimize database schemas (both SQL and NoSQL) and manage data storage solutions to ensure data integrity, performance, and security.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, product managers, and designers, to define, design, and ship new features.

Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, troubleshoot and debug issues, and optimize applications for speed and scalability.

Code Quality: Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality standards, share knowledge, and mentor junior developers.

Testing: Implement and maintain automated testing suites (unit, integration, and end-to-end) to ensure the reliability and stability of the application.

System Architecture: Contribute to the design and evolution of the backend architecture, including a transition to microservices where applicable.

DevOps & Deployment: Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud deployment (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Staying Current: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in backend development, continuously learning and applying new skills.

Skills and Qualifications

Required :

Experience: 26 years of professional experience in backend development.

Programming Languages: Proven proficiency in at least two of the following languages: Node.js, Python, or Java.

Frameworks: Hands-on experience with relevant backend frameworks (e.g., Express.js for Node.js, Django/Flask for Python, Spring Boot for Java).

Databases: Strong knowledge of database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis, and experience with ORMs/ODMs.

APIs: Expertise in designing and developing RESTful APIs.

Version Control: Proficient in using Git and standard Git workflows.

Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred :

Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Containerization: Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.

Microservices: Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.

Testing: Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha, JUnit, Pytest).

Data Structures & Algorithms: A solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
