Position Title : Solution Architect


Location : Bangaluru


Job Summary :


The Solution Architect will be responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of the data platform solution. This role involves working closely with various stakeholders to ensure the architecture aligns with business goals and technical requirements. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with data platforms, cloud technologies, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable and robust technical solutions.


Key Responsibilities :


1. Architecture Design :


- Design and document the architecture for the data platform, ensuring it meets business and technical requirements.


- Develop architectural blueprints, including data models, integration strategies, and technology stack.


- Ensure the architecture is scalable, reliable, and secure.


2. Technical Leadership :


- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.


- Review and approve design documents, code, and other technical artifacts.


- Ensure best practices in coding, architecture, and security are followed.


3. Stakeholder Collaboration :


- Work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to gather and understand requirements.


- Translate business requirements into technical specifications.


- Communicate architectural decisions and strategies to stakeholders.


4. Technology Evaluation :


- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and frameworks to improve the data platform.


- Conduct proof-of-concept projects to assess feasibility and performance of new technologies.


5. Data Platform Implementation :


- Oversee the implementation of data platform components, including Databricks, Snowflake, Tableau, Python, and PySpark.


- Ensure integration between various components of the data platform.


- Implement data governance, data quality, and security measures.


6. Documentation and Standards :


- Develop and maintain architectural documentation, including diagrams, models, and standards.


- Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.


- Establish and enforce coding standards and architectural guidelines.


7. Performance and Optimization :


- Monitor and optimize the performance of the data platform.


- Implement performance tuning and optimization strategies.


- Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure system performance and compliance with standards.


8. Training and Mentoring :


- Provide training and mentoring to development teams on best practices and new technologies.


- Conduct workshops and knowledge-sharing :


Education :


- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.


- Masters degree preferred.


Experience :


- Minimum of 8 years of experience in solution architecture, with a focus on data platforms and cloud technologies.


- Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Tableau, Python, and PySpark is :


- Relevant certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect), data management, or architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) are a plus.


Technical Skills :


- Deep understanding of data architecture, data warehousing, ETL processes, and business intelligence tools.


- Hands-on experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Tableau, Python, and PySpark.


- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and services, particularly AWS.


Leadership Skills :


- Proven ability to lead technical teams and projects.


- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.


- Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


- Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical Skills :
