Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Iris Database Developer to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database development and management, with a focus on the Iris database platform.

This role requires expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining database solutions to support our business operations and drive data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities :

Database Design and Development :

- Design, develop, and maintain Iris database schemas, tables, and data models.

- Optimize database performance through indexing, query optimization, and tuning.

- Implement data integrity and security measures.

Data Management :

- Develop and execute complex SQL queries and stored procedures for data retrieval, manipulation, and reporting.

- Create and manage database backup and recovery plans to ensure data availability and integrity.

- Monitor database performance and resolve issues related to data storage and retrieval.

Collaboration and Support :

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software developers, data analysts, and system administrators to support database-related needs.

- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for database-related issues.

- Document database architecture, processes, and procedures for future reference and compliance.

Continuous Improvement :

- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Iris database technology and industry best practices.

- Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend enhancements to database systems.

Qualifications :

Education :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience :

- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a database developer with a focus on Iris database systems.

- Proven experience in database design, development, and optimization.

Technical Skills :

- Proficiency in Iris database platform, including but not limited to Inter Systems IRIS Data Platform.

- Strong SQL skills, including the ability to write complex queries and stored procedures.

- Experience with data modeling and database design best practices.

- Familiarity with database management tools and software.

Soft Skills :

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Certifications related to Iris database or database development.

- Experience with cloud-based database solutions and platforms.

- Knowledge of additional programming languages or technologies (e., Python, Java).
