About the Role:
We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Cloud Data Engineers to join the Optum Advisory Team. The ideal candidates will bring deep expertise in cloud-based data engineering with a strong background in Azure, Databricks, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Snowflake. This role requires self-starters who can work independently with minimal guidance, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact data solutions in the healthcare domain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain cloud-based data pipelines and ETL processes.

  • Work with Azure, Databricks, ADF, Snowflake, Python, SQL, and PySpark for data engineering tasks.

  • Write optimized SQL queries, including window functions, to support analytics and reporting.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues and implement robust solutions.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business and data requirements.
